Swans First in UK Football to Launch In-App Season Tickets
Following the hugely successful launch of in-app ticketing for home match day tickets, we are now pleased to announce that this has been extended for season ticket holders.
Developed in conjunction with our partners Sports Alliance and Ticketmaster for the ever-progressive Swansea City FC, the new season in-app ticketing option is believed to be the first of its kind available for football clubs in the UK.
It means Swans fans with a season ticket will be able to display their season card on their mobile phones at the turnstile to gain entry to all football fixtures at the Liberty Stadium.

Like the in-app ticketing, launched earlier this year, the project was made possible by integrating Single Sign On ‘Club Accounts’ into the app. This means that once signed in, the app recognises if the user is a Season Ticket Holder or Jack Army Member and can deliver tickets and barcodes for entry into The Liberty Stadium, all in real time.
Building effective digital relationships is at the heart of Swansea’s strategy and this is just our latest development for Swansea City’s Official Swans App. Our work with the club also includes a dedicated player welfare app and interactive in-store kiosks.
