New Wanderers Website Kicks Off Fan Experience Upgrade

We are proud to announce the launch of the new Bolton Wanderers website – better-looking, easier to navigate and packed with more features than ever before, this kicks off the first chapter in Wanderers’ ongoing and ambitious digital transformation.

Following consultation with the supporters and close collaboration with the Club we are rolling out a new set of highly engaging, integrated, and easy-to-manage digital products that deliver the best experience for the club and the fans. The new fan-focused digital approach will help to grow the fan-base, deepen engagement, and provide significant commercial opportunities.

We’ve written previously about the importance of understanding the fans when devising a digital strategy and the club identity is a key consideration when designing digital fan experiences. The design of this new website, and imminent new Club app, incorporates input from the Club Historian and proudly shows off the club’s identity throughout – from the Lancashire red rose, to the historic elephant, and the diamond shape of the stadium’s iconic floodlights.

An overall improved user experience is enhanced by our single sign on (SSO) service that allows supporters to access a range of services from one Wanderers Account – from retail, to tickets, to the all new Wanderers TV service.

Wanderers TV is the upgraded streaming and video on demand service from leading streaming provider StreamAMG that will deliver a superior viewing experience for fans across the globe.

Alongside all the content you’d expect, from news and results, to fixtures and league tables, the website also features an engaging new Live Match Centre and fan favourites such as quizzes, polls, and score and line-up predictors.

Powered by our Clubcast Fan Experience Platform, the club now has ease of editorial control as well as benefiting from the platform’s data cloud and single-sign on solutions. The club can now continually monitor performance and make refinements to enhance the user experience and maximise commercial opportunities.
