New Imps Website Kicks Off Busy Summer

Lincoln City are the first of a number of clubs across the EFL to launch their own club website, stepping away from the EFL Digital platform, this summer.

Like many others City have chosen to invest in their own digital platforms to give them more control over these vital assets as well as allowing them to have more of an on-brand look and feel to their website and upcoming app.

The choice to partner with us to upgrade their digital fan experience is part of the strategic plan to better engage with supporters. Our pedigree of innovation, with a number of sporting digital firsts, and our reputation as a partner who will be right there by the club’s side affords them confidence in this substantial decision.

“Our growing digital presence is important to us as a club. We are regularly told through surveys that this is how supporters wish to engage with us and receive their news.

“Other Media will allow us to take the next step on this process, we are thrilled with how our new website looks and can’t wait for fans to see this in action. The new app will provide us new ways to communicate with supporters as well as feature fun games to play through the season.”

Lincoln City Football Club

The club have very recently changed their badge following a large majority of the supporters voting for the simpler, more striking Imp. The retro Imp will be making its comeback on the club’s 2024/25 kits, the first of which has just launched. This move gave our creative team an exciting opportunity to really bring these striking, bold elements into the design.

Evolving a brand digitally is an involved process and we’ve relished getting our teeth stuck into this with the club.

You can see the new website here and keep an eye out for the club’s first official apps launching later this summer. The apps will further enhance the engagement with fans with features like in-app ticketing and targeted push notifications.

Both the website and app are powered by our Fan Experience Platform, Clubcast. Clubcast features a powerful CMS for creating, publishing, and scheduling all web and app content from one system; as well as stats, video and OTT, ticketing, hospitality, retail, and data and marketing tools.

“It’s been a real pleasure working with the team at Lincoln City and helping to transform their digital fan experience.

“The team are ambitious and forward-thinking, and we know this partnership is going to deliver ever more impressive features for the fans.”
