The launch of the brand new Club app for Belgium’s most successful football club, Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht, is one that plays to all Other Media’s key strengths in design and development, and what the club have done to make the most of this powerful tool already is quite remarkable.

Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht have won a record 34 Belgian top flight titles and have been competing in the Belgian Pro League since 1935-36, as well as having picked up silverware in European competitions.
After a thorough digital audit the club have undertaken to overhaul their digital fan experience to one befitting a club of this stature.
Underpinned by a strong digital strategy the new website and app have been given Other Media’s signature premium design treatment, and are powered by the Clubcast fan experience platform.
AI, Multi-Language, Tickets, Predictors, Polls…
The app features AI-powered content, curated videos in Mauve TV, in-app ticketing, and is available in Dutch, French, and English. Design details, like highlighting first team players that have come through the Academy, and the option to embed merchandise in key areas, such as player profiles, elevate the experience further.
Line-up and score predictors, along with polls, bring supporters even closer to the action and deepen engagement,
Fans can also rely on all the features they’d expect, from a live Match Centre, information on all the teams, all the fixtures, and results, to live league tables and every piece of news as it breaks.

The Sporting fans are now able to have everything they need in the palm of their hand, crafted to the high standard that fans can count on from their Club.
There is always more a Club can do, though, to encourage downloads. Shortly after launch the Club put on an immersive lightshow display at the stadium with fans able to join in by using the app to control their smartphone light for them to be a part of the lightshow.
