What we did
AlertMe are the people who power Hive and bring the power of the ‘internet of things’ into the home.As part of the digital rejuvenation it was decided that a new brand mark should be developed to capture the excitement and technological, ecological and social benefits of their products. We were also asked to redesign and modernise their existing non responsive site.
To help AlertMe tell the product stories to their customers a new palette, a new visual language and a much more contemporary look that retained the soft roundness of their old identity was created, alongside a striking illustration style and a playful tone of voice that wasn’t condescending or overly technical. This rebrand helped propel AlertMe into an acquisition by British Gas, in a £65m deal.
